Paper beads
One of the fun events at PTI yesterday was a challenge to make beads out of paper. I don't normally get excited about projects like this, but given the gorgeous PTI and other patterned papers I have, I had to give it a try! I made the beads last night and let them dry overnight. I strung them together this morning with some smaller beads I had around the house. I hope you can check out the PTI blog activities and give this project a try!!

Stamp-a-faire 2012
Hi Everyone!
Tomorrow is Stamp-a-faire over at PapertreyInk and I really encourage everyone to check it out! As the summer winds down here in NYC, I'm really looking forward to this day full of stamping and crafting. Last year Robin and I went to CHA but we were unable to attend the PTI weekend. Therefore, I am really excited to have a chance to participate this year. Hope you all can join too!

PTI Blog Hop #2
Hey!
So Robin also decided to make a card for the PTI blog hop. She found an awesome piece of green gingham paper to line the card. She added a sentiment from PTIs framed out, cutting the border out in black card stock and the interior in white. She stamped the sentiment in black ink. Finally, she took the new PTI chevron die and die cut a thick and thin chevron piece out of black and white card stock. She glued the thin white strip onto the thick black strip and vice versa. She then adhered the strips to the card behind the sentiment. I hope you enjoy!!

PTI May Blog Hop
Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted anything on the blog in a long time- things have been a little crazy around here. Anyway, I decided to make a card for the PTI May bloghop. The challenge was to make a card based on an inspirational photo, which contained various patterns in black, white and green.
I made this card using some paper scraps that were in the house. I used a peace of leaf patterned paper on top and a piece of script paper for the bottom. A strip of black cardstock was used to separate the two patterns. I die cut the frame from PTIs Happy Day and stamped one of the coordinating frames. I then added a sentiment from a Hero Arts stamp set and finished off the sentiment with two jewels. Finally, I added a few die cut leaves from PTIs "Turning a New Leaf" to tie it into the patterned paper.
Hope you enjoy!

PTI Blog Hop- Interactive Cards
The theme for this month's PTI blog hop is "interactive cards" so I decided to use the new movers and shakers dies to create a fun card. I paired the new PTI raspberry fizz patterned paper with the butterfly dreams stamp set. The sentiments come from the all about you stamp set. A few small pearls were used to finish off the card!
I hope you enjoy!

PTI Anniversary- Floral
To make this, I used many different sets including floral fusion and Turning a new leaf. I tried to stay within her color scheme, including pinks and other light hues. I also included the green leaves using momento ink.
I hope you enjoy!

PTI Anniversary- Kraft
I made this card for the PTI anniversary as well. I took inspiration from Maile's use of craft paper and a sentiment in black- I just love the look of that! I also wanted to use something springy, so I included some PTI cut flowers. Unfortunately, this stamp set does not have a matching die, so I hand cut the flowers. I love how CAS this card is!
Thanks for visiting. Hope you enjoy!

PTI Anniversary
Having not made a lot of cards in a while, I decided today would be a good time to get a little crafty. Despite it being fairly cold outside, I wanted to make some springy cards for the PTI anniversary. Therefore, I decided to use one of my favorite floral sets, the PTI anniversary stamp set from last year. I used this set with the fence die and a matching sentiment. I used a few of the springy, floral cards today as inspiration, such as the one from Debbie Olson.
I hope you enjoy!
